Gloria Dei Sanctuary Choir Accompanist (Fall – Spring)
Responsibilities
- Prepare accompaniment and vocal parts of pieces selected by choir director.
- Attend weekly rehearsal Thursdays, 6:30 – 7:45 p.m.
- Play with choir in worship services 2nd and 4th Sundays, either at the 8:15 a.m. or 10:45a.m service (or occasionally at both.)
- Play for special holiday services, including Christmas Eve (7:00 p.m.).
Qualifications
- Early advanced piano skills.
- Ability to play vocal parts during rehearsal.
- Ability to follow conductor during rehearsals and performance.
- Attentiveness in a fast-paced rehearsal.
- A cooperative, teachable spirit.
Pay
$60 per rehearsal; $60 per worship service
