About Our Preschool
Gloria Dei Lutheran Preschool was established in 1988. It is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The mission of the preschool is to help children develop spiritually, intellectually and physically in a Christian environment.
Preschool Purpose
- To provide young children with a supportive program of early learning experiences in a supportive Chirstian environment.
- To allow young children to grow in faith, confidence and
self-esteem. - To aid parents in the development of the child as he/she makes a gradual adjustment from home to school.

What a Typical Day Looks Like
Arrival – meet and greet children from the carpool line
Circle time – welcome, story, Pledge of Allegiance, “helper” job assignments, calendar, weather, daily concepts, prayer
Academic Time/Centers – art, science, dramatic play, manipulative, computer time, writing, math and library
Clean up – put toys away, toileting, and hand washing
Snack time – parent provided We are peanut and tree nut restricted!
Large Motor – dancing, parachute, kids in action, playground
Closing circle time – Story and dismissal
Departure – help children back into cars in carpool line

Enrichment Programs
Gloria Dei Preschool offers enrichment programs throughout the year.
Devotions
Once a week the Pastor and the Director of Christian Education shares devotions with each class. These devotions are a special time to share God’s Word with the preschoolers and help develop their faith.
Library
Twice a month, preschoolers visit the Preschool Library to borrow a book and listen to a Hudson Librarian or a guest reader share stories.

2020-2021 Tuition Rates
Tuition is payable in 3 installments which are due Aug. 15, Nov. 15 and Feb. 15. Monthly payment plans may be arranged by request.
Families enrolling more than one child will receive a 10% reduction on the second child’s tuition and a 15% reduction on the third child’s tuition.
All students are invited to stay for “Lunch Bunch” for an additional $5 per day. We also offer “Enrichment Friday” which runs from 11:30 PM to 2:00 PM on Fridays for an additional $10 per session. Enrichment Friday is open to students and prospective students.
