Prospective and current members explore the faith based on Luther's Catechism and the Bible. Cost for 2 books is $20. Led by Pastor Tritten in the Luther Room. Runs 11 Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30 pm, August 26-November 11.
How to Celebrate Baptisms

Connect with other parents, godparents, and grandparents of the recently Baptized to share ways of growing in Christ with a faith chest. Led by Bob Brantsch in the Luther Room. Runs 2 Sundays, 9:30 am, September 13 & 27.
A Fresh Look at John: From Son of Thunder to Apostle of Love

Using Scripture and early church history, explore the life and legacy of John — the young fisherman whom Jesus loved, apostle of the early church, and author of five books of the Bible. Led by Mike & Amy Tubergen in the Ministry Center. Runs 8 Sundays, 9:30 am, September 13-November 8.
Faith in Action

Explore how the money we give leads to specific and tangible results as the Gospel changes lives. Led by Pastor Tritten and the Stewardship Board in the Ministry Center. Sunday, September 20, 9:30 am.
The Four Gospels

Compare the 4 Gospels in 8 weeks with reading, homework, PowerPoint, and discussion. Taught by Bob Brantsch. Register for 5A or 5B. 5A: Mondays, 7:00 pm, September 28-November 16, in the Luther Room at Gloria Dei. 5B: Wednesdays, 2:00 pm, September 30-November 18, in the Mixing Place at Laurel Lake.
Cherished Belonging: The Healing Power of Love in Divided Times

Read and discuss a book by Rev. Gregory Boyle, founder of Homeboy Industries, and apply Scripture to our separated world of today. Book cost is $19. Led by Gill Solem & Bob Brantsch in the Luther Room. Runs 8 Sundays, 9:30 am, October 4-November 22.
Grief During the Holidays

Participants who have lost loved ones will explore how to live with grief now, during the holidays, and beyond. Led by Peter Sterenberg in the Library. Runs 2 Sundays, 9:30 am, November 8 & 15.
Six Saints

Look at how God's Word formed these Christians as we strive to be formed by His Word today. The saints we will explore are Martin of Tours, Clement of Rome, Andrew, Nicholas of Myra, Lucia, and Katharina von Bora. Led by Pastor Tritten in the Ministry Center. Runs Sundays, 9:30 am, November 15-December 20.
Skipping Christmas

Read the John Grisham book "Skipping Christmas," watch the movie "Christmas with the Kranks," and apply the true spirit and meaning of Christmas to the Bible. Book cost is $10. This is an updated class from six years ago and may not be offered again for several years. Held in the Luther Room. Runs 4 Sundays, 9:30 am, November 29-December 20.
Genesis

Explore in-depth Genesis 1-11, focusing on Biblical creation, the fall into sin, the flood, and the tower of Babel. Led by Pastor Tritten in the Ministry Center. Runs Sundays, 9:30 am, January 3-May 30.
The Holy Spirit

Explore the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament, Gospels, Acts, and the work of Paul. Book cost is $13. Held in the Luther Room. Runs 5 Sundays, 9:30 am, January 3-31.
2026 Recap

Review the highlights and challenges from 2026, comparing them to our mission statement and Scripture with a look to our future. Led by Pastor Tritten and congregational leaders in the Ministry Center. Sunday, February 7, 9:30 am.
At the Foot of the Cross

Explore two stories each week about the objects related to Jesus' suffering and death from Pastor Tritten's Lenten series. Held in the Luther Room. Runs 6 Sundays, 9:30 am, February 14-March 21.
2027 Church Leadership

This all-congregation study will look at what the Bible says about Christian leadership. Incoming members of the Church Council will be present so that members can get to know them, and we will provide an update on our finances and other important information about the life of the congregation. Led by Pastor Tritten and congregational leaders in the Ministry Center. Sunday, April 18, 9:30 am.
VBS Bible Stories

VBS staff members will study the Bible stories of each day of VBS to better teach students more effectively. Held in the Luther Room. Runs 5 Sundays, 9:30 am, April 4-May 16.
